From the novel
“A letter is the slowest form of attention we have left. That is exactly what makes it worth sending.”

Correspondence runs through Seeing More Than We Could See Before: Simon's unsent drafts, Alex's case files, the letter Faith finally posts in Part Four. Readers often write to say which one found them. Those messages come here.

Before you write

Two things worth knowing

On difficult letters

The novel deals with suicide and grief, and some letters carry a great deal. They are welcome, but this inbox is not a crisis service, and a reply can take days. If you need someone tonight, the numbers in the footer answer immediately.

On manuscripts

Terri can't read unpublished manuscripts or offer editorial feedback, and unsolicited attachments are deleted unread. Questions about craft, research and the writing of the book are a different matter. Ask away.
